San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign
San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign Program Director, of a Fatherhood Program / Initiative which is designed to encourage and promote responsible fatherhood and family initiatives using cultural values and traditional family perspectives. This program serves and helps fathers locally and nationally on fatherhood issues.
Parent-Family & Fatherhood Educator / Facilitator: Enlightening skills building regarding fatherhood strengthening and mentorship to community fathers and families. Particular concentration: C0-Parenting for life, single parenting success, incarcerated father’s integration, young fathers / young men skills development. (Current participating organizations: Child Protective Services, Texas / City Department of Health, Federal Correctional Institution, County Correction Institution, Family – Juvenile Judicial Courts, Children’s Head Start Services, Office of Attorney General, San Antonio School Districts (7) and over 50 communities and faith based organizations.)
Life skills Mentor: Life skills building through experiential learning for children, youth and adults towards positive choice making and reflective self evaluation process. (Organizations serve(d): Por Vida Academy (Charter school), Frank M. Department of Corrections Educational Facilitator: Accumulated extensive work with educational and empowerment efforts towards re-entry processes with incarcerated fathers to lower recidivism. (Sites: Three Rivers FCI, Bexar County Detention Center)
Development of outreach and parent education methodologies for the City of San Antonio Metro Health, Texas Department of Health, Texas Department of Human Services Health and Community and Faith Based organizations.
Advisor to community and neighborhood partners on family development projects and coalition building as well as accumulating extensive experience in mentoring youth and running groups of men and fathers.
Panel speaker on several National platforms on Fatherhood, parenting and teen parenting issues as well Latino male role-modeling.
